In our PreK and K-2 Montessori classrooms, we are responsive to individual differences in developmental stage, ability and interest. We strive to achieve a balance between guiding the child's learning and following their lead, honoring prior knowledge as new concepts are developed, and celebrating the intrinsic worth and value of each child. Children bring to the classroom different sets of beliefs, customs, traditions, values, and experiences.
The goal of our Montessori K-2 Classroom is to guide children into a loving relationship with God so they, through service, may reflect His love to others. Our teacher in this room is certified by the American Montessori Society (AMS).
